Practical information
When is the best time to visit Essaouira?
Essaouira works all year round: temperatures stay between 17 °C and 26 °C. April to October brings the best wind for kitesurfing and surfing; May, June and September combine good weather with moderate crowds. July–August is the Moroccan high season and much livelier.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Our team is local and answers in English, French, Spanish and German, on WhatsApp as well as by email.
Where are you located in Essaouira?
Our team is based in the Essaouira medina (44000). We do not run a tourist counter: everything is handled on WhatsApp, by email, or directly at the meeting point of your activity.
Do you offer tailor-made stays?

Transfers & taxi
How much is a taxi from Essaouira to Marrakech?
The private transfer Essaouira → Marrakech costs 400 MAD for the vehicle (up to 4 people), around 2h30 of driving. The price is fixed and includes fuel, tolls and the driver.
Is the transfer price per person or per vehicle?
Our transfer prices are per vehicle, not per person. A group of 4 therefore pays the same as a solo traveller. Above 4 people we provide a 7-seater minivan.

The simplest option is a door-to-door private transfer: 450 MAD per vehicle, around 2h30 on the road. Our driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign and tracks your flight number in case of delay.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
No extra charge. We track your flight number and adjust the pick-up time automatically. Waiting time is free for up to 90 minutes after landing.

What documents do I need to rent a car in Morocco?
A driving licence held for at least one year, an ID card or passport, and a bank card in the driver’s name for the deposit. An international permit is not required for European licences.
Can the car be delivered to my riad or the airport?
Yes, delivery and collection are free in Essaouira (riad, hotel, villa) and available at Marrakech airport for a surcharge. Just tell us the address and time when you request the car.
Tours
Are the tours private or in a group?
All our tours are private: you travel only with the people on your booking, in an air-conditioned vehicle with a dedicated driver-guide. The itinerary and timings adapt to your pace.
Is lunch included in the full-day trips?
Yes for the Sidi Kaouki and Paradise Valley trips: a traditional Berber lunch (tagine, salads, tea) is included. Extra drinks are at your own expense.
